Some ideas to improve the SR Display Screen.

Currently the SR Display screen is for surround awareness monitoring. This information can be enriched, and yet kept simple. No need to keep the mobile phone active, or toggle between different screen, like the Old NGP screen, or the Map Screen.

So this driver instrument display screen of the small map is not dependable when I need to change route, or select the next Highway Rest Station so that xNGP will navigate to the rightmost lane.

The SR Display screen can be made more functional to improve the user experience and realize intuitive design to provide the drive with a good journey awareness with the self-driving car surround awareness. The current SR Display screen is so dull, basically a gimmick with no real usefulness. I already complained about this before. Yes, I understand some drivers may like to watch it while driving, but the information it shows is not tactile for defensive driving. I think we can integrate some relevant and simple information to complement.

These are fictional illustrations that i did in 15 minutes after returning from Guangzhou this morning. It is based on my experience using the car as a foreigner with little ability to use voice commands. Maybe for the people who can speak Chinese, they can navigate around more easily using voice, but this is also in my opinion unnecessary. if the current situation is perfect, then these ideas are just hypothetical.
