Today, i just passed the 20,000kms milestone driving the Xpeng P7 with XP 3.0. In this post i want to stress out the comfort of driving 20,000kms with XP 3.0 in one of the smartest cars on the market.
今天是我开小鹏P7智尊版跑完了2万公里。这次我想表达一下开一台带XP3.0的智能车跑2万公里有多舒服!
Many people ask about XPilot 3.0, is it worth the money? Shall we buy XP 3.0 or XP 2.5? Some also state they don't really care about autonomous driving, why should we pay more for something we barely use?
我偶尔看鹏友圈看经常有人问XP 3.0值不值得拥有?我们应该买2.5还是3.0车型?有的人还说我们对辅助驾驶不太感兴趣,何必花钱去买一个不经常用的功能?
First of all XP 3.0's main function is NGP!The main objective of NGP is to offer you comfort on long journeys while you can spend the minimum amount of effort to ensure a smooth comfortable trip to your destination. Mainly on highways now and later on some city avenues, all you need to do is set your destination on the map then autonomous driving will take the wheels and choose best lanes, overtake slow cars, hop on and off highways and give you a safe distance away from trucks. As you can see i had 4467kms on NGP during my first 20,000kms which is a lot of trust!
XP 3.0主要功能是NGP。它的目标是跑长途的时候,在最基本的注意力带你走一段最顺利的路程!目前在高速公路后期会开放一些城市主路,你只要导航设置目的地,然后车会带你走最合适的路,最安全的速度,最方便的高速公路还会避让货车!在我走的2万公里内,有4467公里是用NGP走的!这也代表我对NGP很有信心 😎
The second main feature of XP 3.0 is VPA. I feel this feature is not mature enough (slow and hesitant) but I also think it's the beginning of something very special where you can stop the car at your doorstep and allow it to drive you your parking spot by itself. Also I believe we will achieve Summon feature where you could, by the press of a button, call your car to meet you again at your doorstep. This feature is time saving and is very cool.
XP 3.0第二功能是VPA。我个人觉得这个功能目前不太成熟 (有点慢也经常很犹豫)。但是我相信未来这个功能会发展为代客泊车,你只要停在你的家门口 然后按一下手机让车开去你自己的车位停车。这个后期也会发展为召唤功能,按一下手机让车开到你的位置来找你。这功能很省时间也很酷 😉
The third feature i want to talk about is ACC and LCC。Though XP 2.5 also has these features, but they are much more mature on XP 3.0. For example, in 3.0 LCC can be activated even under 60km/hr and when driving through a steep turn it will automatically slow down to stay in lane. 30% of my 20.000kms were on LCC and ACC which shows how useful they are.
第三功能,ACC和LCC。这两个功能虽然XP 2.5也有,但是在XP 3.0会更好用!比如可以再城市低速开启,在弯路会自动减速保持车道。我行驶里程2万公里的30%是开启LCC和ACC说明比较好用!
Finally, i want to talk about the hardware of the XP 3.0. It is equipped with Nvidia Xavier processor which is capable of 30TOPS and Level 3 autonomous driving using 14 cameras, 12 ultrasonic wave sensors, 5 HD millimeter wave radars and high precision positioning system. This hardware which is way ahead of the XP 2.5 and ahead of most autonomous driving capable vehicles in the market allows the 3.0 P7 to achieve L3 autonomous driving and may be upgradeable in the future to support L4 under some circumstances! The P7 supports software OTA and also supports hardware upgrades in the future! This means buying the XP 3.0 version of the P7 will allow you to drive your car for years being capable to keep up with the latest features. So when you want to choose, don't only think of what the car is capable of accomplishing today, but think of what this hardware could achieve in future updates and upgrades.
最后我想说一下智尊版P7的硬件。它配备了Nvidia Xavier处理器,能够实现30TOPS算力。拥有14颗摄像头,12个超声波传感器,5个高清毫米波雷达和高精度定位系统。这套硬件能让P7实现L3级自动辅助驾驶,未来通过软件和硬件升级还能实现部分场景的L4级自动驾驶!虽然电动车的发展比手机还快,拥有这套硬件,这炫酷的车型还有OTA和硬件升级的可能,可以放心开七八年也不会感觉落后了!所以打算买P7的鹏友们不要考虑今天P7的能力,而要想未来你的P7能实现的功能!
